A prototype crystal is the basic of all crystal types. It is consider the weakest of all
crystals. Its still able to do the jobs of a normal lightsaber. Still able to cut through flesh and such easily. Just, unlike other primal crystal doesn't make your blade swifter, lighter, stronger, or more longer. The length of a Prototype crystal is 28 inches.

Hilt:
Electrum—A lightsaber with a hilt forged from gold-like electrum was often called an "Electrum lightsaber." The electrum finish gave the lightsaber a majestic, regal appearance. In the last days of the Old Jedi Order, golden and electrum lightsabers were reserved for senior members of the Jedi Council. The basic size is 12 inches.
